Opportunity  

Job Summary: The Internal Compliance Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to ensure that all employees and independent contractors understand and adhere to internal compliance policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and risk management within the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging training materials and programs that address compliance issues and regulatory changes relevant to the organization. 

  • Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels, ensuring understanding of compliance policies and procedures. 

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify compliance training needs and adapt programs to meet those needs effectively. 

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and compliance audits; adjust content and delivery methods as necessary. 

  • Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact compliance training; incorporate these changes into training materials. 

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and compliance metrics; prepare reports for management as needed. 

  • Work closely with the Compliance team and other departments to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals and compliance requirements. 

  • Promote a culture of compliance within the organization through communication, support, and engagement initiatives. 

Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area. 

  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as FTC Act, FCC Communications, BCP consumer protection, state advertising and marketing laws, and the FDACS. 

  • Proven experience in conducting trainings and compliance review. 

Skills Preferred: 

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Detail-oriented. 

  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in compliance monitoring and reporting. 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple compliance initiatives and deadlines. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting compliance reports, creating training materials, and interacting with various stakeholders. 

  • Ability to identify compliance issues and develop practical solutions. 

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and organizational needs. 

  • Strong ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive information and make impartial decisions.
