Opportunity
As the Vice President of Services Business, you will play a pivotal role in launching and leading Life Surge’s Services Business, a key component of our 2025 Ecosystem initiative. This individual will develop and oversee a suite of financial, business, and SaaS software services, ensuring they provide sticky high margin recurring revenue compared to existing affiliate partnerships.
The VP of Services Business will report directly to the Chief Product Officer, and will drive innovation, operational excellence, and revenue growth within the services segment, and ultimately be responsible for building our services business from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and execution of the Services Business within Life Surge’s 2025 Ecosystem launch.
Develop our own internal or white label sticky high margin recurring revenue products via research and development, M&A, and/ or affiliate partnerships.
Oversee service management by identifying, researching, and developing internal service offerings, including but not limited to:
Financial Services (e.g., syndications, investment advisory)
Business Services (e.g., tax services, asset protection, operational consulting)
SaaS Software Services (e.g., proprietary tools, business intelligence platforms)
Conduct market and competitive analysis through industry research to ensure our services are market-leading and provide superior strategic value.
Create strategic partnerships through evaluating in-house service development versus external partnerships to optimize value and profitability.
Develop and manage key KPIs, such as conversion rate, renewal rates, lifetime value, revenue, customer acquisition and fulfillment costs, gross margin contribution, net promoter score, and so forth.
Work cross-functionally with teams in Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to align services with Life Surge’s broader strategy and turn those plans into executable projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven leadership experience with 10+ years in business services, financial services, or SaaS industries.
Proven track record of building and scaling service-based businesses, especially financial and business services.
Expertise in market research, business modeling, and service launch strategies.
Strong knowledge of financial services, tax services, asset protection, and SaaS business models.
Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in business development, financial planning, and revenue optimization.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
