Opportunity
The SurgeU Senior Student Support Representative (Level 2) plays a critical role in enhancing the student learning experience through high-quality live online sessions, one-on-one onboarding, and timely support via tickets, emails, and live chat. As a key member of the Level 2 Support team, this role ensures student engagement, satisfaction, and continuous growth in our education programs.
You will be responsible for facilitating live sessions, supporting instructors, and serving as a front-line expert in both trading education and virtual classroom environments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, student-facing role and is excited about helping others succeed in their financial education journey.
Key Responsibilities
Live Session Delivery
Facilitate engaging live online sessions including Learning Labs and Trade Review Sessions
Ensure instructors are present and ready for class start times
Provide one-to-many chat support during live sessions, answering basic trading and support questions
Student Onboarding & Support
Conduct initial 1-to-1 onboarding sessions for new students as needed
Respond to support tickets, emails, and live chats with clarity and timeliness
Assist students in navigating platforms and resources
Content Documentation & Tracking
Record session briefs, market discussions, and key takeaways
Track performance of Live Trading Session Prep-Screen Opportunities
Performance & Engagement
Maintain promptness and preparedness for all sessions
Encourage active student participation and learning
Ensure high-quality delivery and student satisfaction (measured by surveys and observation)
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience trading the SurgeU Surge Trading Strategy (preferred)
Experience using classroom trading platforms such as Trade Surge or TradingView (preferred)
Familiarity with live virtual platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Direct experience in virtual customer service or student support
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, internet applications, SMART, and HubSpot
Positive, collaborative attitude and a proactive mindset
Additional Requirements
Flexible schedule with availability to be “on-call” after hours and on weekends
Must pass a criminal background check
