Opportunity
LIFE SURGE is seeking an eager Tech Administrator who will be responsible for managing all audio/visual aspects during LIFE SURGE’s Real Estate and Stock 3-day educational events. This pivotal role involves handling the pick-up, transport, setup, operation, and teardown of all AV equipment at the event venue. The AV Admin plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless technical operations, including presentation performance throughout the events.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the pick-up, transport, and drop-off of AV equipment to the event venue from the storage unit.
Set up and tear down all AV equipment before and after the 3-day events.
Perform technical operations during events, managing lighting, sound, video, and presentation performance.
Ensure smooth functioning and troubleshooting of AV equipment during the events.
Collaborate with event organizers and other staff members to meet technical requirements.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in handling various audio/visual equipment.
Strong technical skills in lighting, sound, video, and presentation setup.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced event environment.
Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in managing audio/visual components for events.
At least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to setup and dismantle equipment throughout 3-day events.
Meet the physical demands of events, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and moving materials. (Equipment Cases can weigh up to 100 lbs.)
Travel Domestically 28-40 weeks per year from Thursday to Monday.
