Opportunity 

The Director of Operations is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for designing, overseeing, and optimizing all operational processes that power Life Surge’s impact. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this individual will lead General Operations and cross-functional initiatives that support live event execution, platform and technology integration, project management, supply chain, IT, facilities, and operational compliance. 

This leader will work collaboratively with multiple departments to establish and maintain scalable, efficient, and mission-aligned systems, while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. The Director of Operations will also directly contribute to the strategic visioning and implementation of key objectives across the organization 

Responsibilities: 

Strategic Operational Leadership 

  • Partner with the VP of Operations to align operational execution with strategic objectives and new initiatives. 

  • Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks across departments and develop actionable roadmaps for improvement. 

  • Drive a culture of operational excellence by establishing clear KPIs, OKRs, and performance dashboards for each department under operational oversight. 

  • Participate in long-term strategic planning, including growth forecasting, process automation, resource allocation, and expansion infrastructure. 

Operations Oversight and Execution 

  • Oversee core operational areas including: 

  • General Operations: Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless day-to-day core processes, including logistics, vendor administration, event coordination, KPI tracking, reporting, and CRM management. 

  • Key Objectives: Supervise and drive execution of new initiatives collaboratively with the Project Management Office, while building and supporting efficient automation and systems workflows. 

  • Facilities Management: Lead internal and external facility projects, including workplace efficiency, department relocations and building renovations. 

Systems, Technology, and Data Integration 

  • Collaborate with IT to oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise systems. 

  • Ensure dataflows across systems are accurate, reliable, and actionable for all business units. 

  • Drive automation initiatives and technology integrations to improve efficiency, eliminate manual redundancy, and scale capacity. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). 

  • 7–10+ years of progressive operations experience in a mid-to-large scale organization. 

  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and implementing scalable operational systems. 

  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems 

  • Project management tools (Asana) 

  • Data visualization and documentation tools (Power BI, Excel, SharePoint) 

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
