Opportunity
We are seeking a Vice President of Telesales to lead, scale, and optimize all telesales efforts across multiple sales teams responsible for different revenue streams. This executive-level leader will oversee inbound and outbound phone sales teams, including Inside Admissions, Acceleration Sales, and Sponsorship Sales. They will be responsible for implementing high-performance sales strategies, coaching leaders, optimizing conversion rates, and ensuring Life Surge meets its aggressive revenue targets.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in high-volume telesales management, excels in scaling multi-tiered phone sales teams, and is a strategic, data-driven leader who can drive results through coaching, accountability, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive telesales strategy to drive revenue across all phone sales teams.
  • Oversee and optimize multiple sales funnels, ensuring seamless handoffs between event attendees, impact class participants, and SurgeU product buyers.
  • Establish sales KPIs and performance metrics for each telesales team and ensure they align with revenue goals.
  • Lead forecasting and sales planning efforts, ensuring the department is meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Drive CRM adoption and data-driven decision-making to enhance lead conversion, sales velocity, and customer lifetime value.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Directly manage multiple sales leaders overseeing various phone-based sales teams.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales teams, ensuring strong leadership at every level.
  • Build and maintain a world-class sales culture focused on results, accountability, and professional development.
  • Foster a winning, high-energy environment where sales reps feel motivated, empowered, and aligned with company values.

Performance Optimization & Process Improvement
  • Develop and refine sales scripts, objection handling frameworks, and training programs to improve conversions.
  • Optimize the sales coaching process by implementing regular training, call reviews, and performance feedback loops.
  • Implement AI-driven call analytics, lead scoring, and automation tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing and sales by collaborating on lead nurturing, follow-up strategies, and customer engagement.

Revenue Growth & Expansion
  • Identify opportunities for revenue expansion, including new telesales strategies, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and improved sales execution.
  • Scale the free preview model telesales team as a core growth initiative for 2025.
  • Drive process standardization and best practices across Inside Admissions, Acceleration, and Sponsorship Sales to maximize close rates.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 5+ years managing high-volume telesales teams.
  • Proven track record of scaling and optimizing phone-based sales teams to drive significant revenue growth.
  • Experience leading multi-tiered sales organizations with distinct teams selling different products or services.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Highly data-driven, with expertise in using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to drive performance.
  • Strong background in sales process optimization, script development, and objection handling techniques.
  • Experience in educational products, live events, coaching programs, or high-ticket sales models is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of sales psychology, customer buying behavior, and motivation strategies.
