Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategy Planning Manager to lead the development of our company's strategic business planning processes. This role will serve as the linchpin for translating our executive vision into actionable strategy and business plans, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, and driving the ongoing refinement of our strategy based on performance insights. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this individual will play a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term success while managing the details of our business planning and execution. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Translate the company’s vision and goals into comprehensive, actionable business plans. 

  • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of the 1, 3, and 5-year growth plans 

  • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer to set specific, measurable, and time-bound goals aligned with the long-term strategic vision. 

  • Update and adjust business plans quarterly and monthly, incorporating performance metrics and feedback. 

  • Develop detailed financial models and projections to guide strategic decision-making for both current and future brands, businesses, and products. 

  • Create budgets and forecasts, working closely with the finance team to align with organizational priorities. 

  • Provide insights on capital allocation and resource planning. 

  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure alignment between strategic goals and project management and execution. 

  • Act as the primary liaison across departments (HR, marketing, sales, events, etc.) to ensure strategic cohesion. 

  • Lead cross-functional meetings to track progress and resolve any roadblocks in executing the business plan. 

  • Forecast and monitor resource needs, including personnel, budget, and operational requirements. 

  • Identify and address resource gaps proactively to avoid execution delays. 

  • Conduct market research and work closely with marketing to produce recommended competitive positioning for new brands, businesses, products and services  

  • Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to improve business planning processes and outcomes. 

  • Deliver high-impact presentations and reports to leadership, showcasing strategic insights and performance updates. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in business planning, strategy development, or a related role. 

  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and capital allocation. 

  • High-level proficiency in PowerPoint for creating compelling strategy and business plans and presentations.  

  • The ability to turn business plans into detailed project management projects is a plus. 

  • Exceptional business and financial acumen. 

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple departments and functions. 

  • Experience in corporate strategy department, management consulting and/or investment banking developing businesses and strategic plans. 

  • Experience with resource planning and forecasting tools. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. 

  • Project management skills. 

  • MBA preferred.
